Providing high quality professional massage therapy for over 13 years

Colin Coffey, LMT

Hi! I'm Colin Coffey, owner and Licensed Massage Therapist. For over 13 years I have provided massage therapy in the same location in the South Wedge, Rochester, NY. Check out Renewing-Massage unsolicited reviews on Google. "Especially for the Holidays give yourself, a friend, a spouse, a family member the gift of massage therapy to de-stress and/or enjoy the Season more!"

The benefits of massage therapy

Reducing stress is recognized by the National Institutes of Health as a positive impact on your health – you don’t need a medical degree to know that though. Especially now during our response to Covid-19 managing stress in healthy ways is important - and massage therapy can be one of the positive tools to reduce stress and manage anxiety. As a Licensed Massage Therapist by the State of New York I can work with you (where medically appropriate) to help to reduce stress and improve muscle tone and function using scientifically developed massage techniques.

  • LGBT - Colin has been out for over 30 years and believes passionately in supporting equality for LGBTQI people. "I believe professional massage therapy can be especially beneficial for LGBT people in terms of providing therapeutic non-sexual touch and the positive effects this can have on reducing stress. Stress caused by homo/transphobic family, friends, co-workers and secular and religious institutions can be a significant causal factor for negative health outcomes for LGBT people. Reducing stress is an important benefit massage therapy can bring to LGBT people.
